Louie made me a garbage bag parka (it was raining) before I crossed the river after coffee and biscuits for breakfast in his cabin yesterday AM.

Looking down from tower this (rainy) morning, the 500 ft. Cable across river (on bosun’s chair) to Louie’ cabin on other side of river. Every time I take this ride, my heart’s in my mouth until I come in for landing on other side.

Louie told me the other night that he’s now 90 years old! He still rides the 500 ft. Cable across the river to get to his cabin. Dude!

The Stone Zone refers to a series of stone art works. It’s in the woods near Gualala, Calif. This is recreation of the ruins of a stone building, it’s along the old stage coach road.
