I read about her in the children’s section of the New York Times on Sunday. In an article by Jeremy Gordon, her new friend drummer Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer, said: “I watched it in amazement, not only because she was nailing all of the parts, but the way that she would scream when she did her drum rolls … “There’s something about seeing the joy and energy of a kid in love with an instrument. She just seemed like a force of nature.”

Lloyd Kahn started building his own home in the early '60s and went on to publish books showing homeowners how they could build their own homes with their own hands. He got his start in publishing by working as the shelter editor of the Whole Earth Catalog with Stewart Brand in the late '60s.
