About Lloyd Kahn
Lloyd Kahn started building his own home in the early '60s and went on to publish books showing homeowners how they could build their own homes with their own hands. He got his start in publishing by working as the shelter editor of the

Shelter,
Shelter II (1978),
Home Work (2004),
Builders of the Pacific Coast (2008),
Tiny Homes (2012), and
Tiny Homes on the Move (2014). Lloyd operates from Northern California studio built of recycled lumber, set in the midst of a vegetable garden, and hooked into the world via five Mac computers. You can check out videos (one with over 450,000 views) on Lloyd by doing a search on YouTube:
Great blog, came across it on my news feed. I produce more electricity than I use giving the vast majority of it back to the utility for a pittance. I still have to come out of pocket with what I get from them at an exorbitant rate, supposedly the highest in the country. I intend to rectify this by getting several of the Tesla 13 kWh batteries with additional panels to supplement the 36 I already have. Because of our rates I calculated that the system would pay for itself in about 7 years, took less that six instead.

Very powerful spiritual journey. So honored to be in the presence of the holy and redeemed..Thanks so much White Buffalo ❣
Was there in May and it was so cool. Heard stories, met a couple people, drooled over some rocks & bought a few. It is on my do over list. Hi white Buffalo I felt so close and kinship with you. Hope you enjoy the shells from Newport. Tell Bob hi. Hope we can arrive on the same path again.
Do you know what the hours are? And if there's a time of year the rock shops closed?
Joe is a great guy and a wonderful friend. We are blessed to know him!
Hope to return again very soon. Hey buddy! It’s Ben and Nancy over here in Juliaetta! Keep the faith, we hope to see you down the road soon!

Met Joe today. Was traveling back from yerington NV after visiting Grandkids. A spiritual Moment it was. Joes sweet Wife was getting ready to drive Him to the Reno Nevada VA Hospital. We Chatted for a spell and they drove away as I loaded several Small Beautiful Boulders in my truck. Prayers and Quick healing Joe. Hope to unite again down the Trail. Sage Runner
