This incredible video is from Instagram account of _millionrise_ (note underlines at either end of name). Can’t find any explanation of who or where, and I suggest turning off the music, but this is wonderful. Check out other posts at _millionrise_.

About Lloyd Kahn

Lloyd Kahn started building his own home in the early '60s and went on to publish books showing homeowners how they could build their own homes with their own hands. He got his start in publishing by working as the shelter editor of the Whole Earth Catalog with Stewart Brand in the late '60s. He has since authored six highly-graphic books on homemade building, all of which are interrelated. The books, "The Shelter Library Of Building Books," include Shelter, Shelter II (1978), Home Work (2004), Builders of the Pacific Coast (2008), Tiny Homes (2012), and Tiny Homes on the Move (2014). Lloyd operates from Northern California studio built of recycled lumber, set in the midst of a vegetable garden, and hooked into the world via five Mac computers. You can check out videos (one with over 450,000 views) on Lloyd by doing a search on YouTube:

  1. It is good for you to post these type of accomplished women.

Myself, I have a truly hard (impossible) job getting a screw or nail in straight, and I admire any folks who can, and is nice to see many women who are
    very accomplished with this.

    Another Tiny Home.
This one likely cost a pittance to build,
    and
    has brought joy to many.
In a Time of the Virus,
One family built a Tiny Home
    to spark curiosity and smiles
    in
    Saskatoon Saskatchewan

  2. Dear Lloyd, I have had a book (translated in French) from you since years, which I was reading in again lately, and only recently discovered this site and your blog.
What an inspiration. Visiting your blog is like travelling. I’ll travel to your blog a lot in the next weeks, part of my Summer trip, now that real movement is restricted due to Corona….
    Greetings from Europe,
