Tom’s Model Barn

Our friend Tom spent months building this exquisite little barn. It’s 16″ long by 12″ high at the peak, by 11″ wide. There are 1160 hand-split cedar shakes on the roof. To my mind, it’s art in the highest order. It should be in a gallery. If someone were interested in supporting arts and crafts, I’d say it’s worth a minimum of $5,000. Even then, his hourly rate would be below minimum wage. Sigh. Such is the status of guerrilla artists.

    Lloyd,
thought you might like a gander at this lad’s work. Too bad I couldn’t send your blog to him. Think he might enjoy your blog….)
